General questions
Previous guilds and reasons for leaving?
Magma on Anachronos. I was the Shaman CL in this guild and absolutely loved it. Our progress was insane however when summer came around people started to lose faith and not turn up to raids. This followed with 3 Class Leaders leaving and alot of Core Raiders, inc G-Disband was announced in GMOTD so I decided to leave.
Due to there being no spots open for Restoration Shamans in the top guilds I decided to xfer with a few mates.
Why did you choose too become the class you are currently playing with?
My hunter was the first character I levelled and it was awesome. But when raiding came to hand I found it a bit tedious so decided to roll Shaman. Now this was the new class to Alliance in TBC as i'm sure you all know so I decided to give it a shot. After levelling it 70 and re-speccing Resto I found it to be a huge boost in my enjoyment of the game. There's no other thrill than trying to keep up 24 other people up in a boss encounter, while managing totem rotations, mana consumption and survivability.
What are the biggest advantages you have within this class and what is your role in a raid? Specify this to your spec.
CHAIN HEAL! Such an awesome ability to keep up that group of people getting pillage by AoE. Short snappy 3k heals for that odd spike damage and instant 7-9k to replenish that not-so-odd spike damage ( LHW > NS > HW as i'm sure you've gathered
) In addition Earth Shield to soften huge damage intakes, or to aid when there's no conc aura. Also totems are a huge gain to being a shaman, constant mana gains from imp mana spring, mana tide to aid your whole group with nuking/healing, 5 part Fear Ward with Tremor and 101 spell damage and healing with WoA. This coupled with assisted damage with fire totems and more survivability factors with warding totems ( Frost Res, Fire Res etc). Oh and to cap it off 40 seconds of 30% decreased cast time.
Stats unbuffed: 534 Stamina 526 Intellect 55 Haste Rating ( Boss Gear ) 232 Haste Rating ( Trash Gear )
The reason why I don't use Haste Gear on Bosses aswel as Trash as I find it quite a gimp to my mp5-HB. Once I find my mp5 HB comfortable i'll start swapping more haste gear into my boss gear
Health: 8314
Mana: 11096
Spell damage/Healing power: 831/2156 (Boss gear) 739/1901 (Haste Gear)
Spell Crit: 8.79%
mp5: 222 WC-352 WNC (Boss Gear) 188 WC-314 WNC (Haste Gear)
What do you think you can add to Eternals? Chilled out dependable healer. I don't want to 'big myself up' by blabbing on about skills however I know my class extremely well and can perform in stressed situations. Always have my own flasks/food/pots etc and a healthy bank balance to self depend on repair bills. And always willing to help the guildies whether it be quests or wanting to know what time the football kicks off.
What do you think Eternals can do for you? I've spent a few days looking around GL's guilds and found that the first few lines of your recruitment thread caught me 'Eternals is a fun loving raid guild with emphasis on the laughter and jokes rather than the serious shouty yelly yelly stuff. ' Awesome. Guilds that have the ability to progress as well as you're doing and still keep a funny outlook towards it are insane. And just what i'm looking for. Also you have a really ogranised loot system shows people have to work for there loot.
Real Life Info
Howdie. T'names Kieran. I'm currently 17 living with my parents in Cardiff, Wales. I work as a dispensing technician in Lloyds Pharmacy after leaving college due to lack of support off teachers. Was studying Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Maths with aspirations of being a Pharmacist. However after working in a Pharmacy for a year now I now know that i'd rather run into a wall at speed than do it. So with open options i'm currently looking into a carpentry apprenticeship to bring out the handy-man in me. Interests include Football, Rugby, Online Gaming and pissing around with my mates. (Yes that does include alcohol.)
Additional information which you would like too name?
Not much more I can add really. Just hope you enjoy the apply and i'm constructive criticism is totally acceptable aslong as it doesn't involve snooker cue over the head. Just like to enforce that i'm completely focused to the object in hand and want to help you progress as not seeing the full extent of the game before WOTLK for players like y'all would be a kick in the teeth.
(Armory hasn't updated)
Now named Shrostfock so just bump me in-game with any questions!
Cheers.
