General information:
Characters name: Necroslayer
Class: Paladin
Race: Human
Level: 70
Started playing WoW: a few months before TBC came out but it seems like forever
Played Time on your char: cant check atm, im at work but somewhere tween 110 and 150 days
Proffesions Primary and Secundary: Blacksmithing and mining (both 375), First aid and cooking also 375… fishing euhrm…. 10’ish somewhere but I usually do the daily cooking quests on the 3 toons to get some golden darters (or I just buy on ah)
Have decided to ditch mining and go for alchemy for the trinket however (extra transmute/day is a small bonus). Was thinking about ditching BS also to take enchanting to enchant rings but haven’t found the heart yet to do the latter because BS was so tedious to lvl and get nice plans for and it seems SWP has some nice BS plans for Healadins.
Having also a lvl 70 rogue (fog), who has herbs/alch max out provides me with the pots/flasks etc for raiding. My other lvl 70 is a warlock (hordocaust) who has enchanting to provide me with mats for new enchants and weapon oils.
This combination seems to work out fine economically and provides my healadin with all consumables he needs.
How stable is your internet connection: very stable, ADSL broadband
Whats you regular FPS rate in a 25 man raid: well, since I invested in a new gaming system, fps is around 60 all the time in raid. When I was kicked by Rigs about a year ago, that was sadly not the case. I used to play on a FSC AmiloM3438 laptop which was fine in 5 mans and playable in 10-mans, my fps dropped to 5-6 fps in 25mans however… It took literally several seconds to look up for A’lar fex or to select another healing target… needless to say… my performance looked like crap and the gkick resulted (and I also healed stonedrunk in conjunction with lag resulted in healing primarily myself and phail ). I also remember a horde raid in SW where I was at 0 fps for over two minutes and being dead when reloaded without even knowing what happened. But all that is old news now.
Raid times and Experience:
We raid from Monday till Friday with different times. How many of these day can you attend. Please clarify them with the day and the time.
Monday 19:30-23:30:
Tuesday 19:30-23:30:
Wednesday19:15-24:00:
Thursday 19:30-23:30:
Friday 19:30-xx:xx:
Occasionally we raid on Sunday from 19:30-23:30
These raidslots in terms of hours are easy enough to meet but tbh I think 4 nights/week are the maximum I can attend although I’ll do more if RL allows it.
Whats your pre-TBC raiding experience?
none really since I hit 70 when TBC was out. Done blackwing lair once
The Burning Crusade experience:
Raid Experience within the following dungeons:
Serpent Shrine Caverns: 6/6
Tempest Keep: 3/4
Mount Hyjal: 4/5, many many wipes on archi, best was 20%. Instead of us killing him, he basically corroded/killed our guild
Black Temple: 3/9
Sunwell Plateau: none
Zul’Aman: 6/6
General questions
From which guilds have you been a member and whats the you are leaving them or left them?
Remember this can checked
KEK (still)/FTW/ Eternals-Sanity/ Fellowship of the Dragons
I’m still in KEK but as you all will know by now there isn’t enough manpower left atm and although I waited and hoped a rebuilding would occur, people continue to drop out so its future looks grim. The several weeks now without raiding are starting to hurt. I’m no guildhopper at all, I like the sense of belonging and to work together but I just want to get back in the game.
Why did you choose too become the class you are currently playing with?
I’ve always been a fan of D&D so I learned the paladin lore for the first time in the baldur’s gate series which stole months away of my life followed by Icewind dales etc. I liked the paladin-mythology as a defender of the weak, the bringer of light and the relentless hunter of the undead to put those nasty’s back where they belong… hence the name for my avatar
What are the biggest advantages you have within this class and what is your role in a raid? Specify this to your specc.
Healing, buffing and cleansing are the main things I bring to the table.
DI’ing and rezzing on wipes come also in handy
Stats unbuffed: Armory is down atm so these my stats as far as I know unbuffed by heart (can be little delta’s)
Health: 8600
Mana: 11000
Attack power (Melee/ranged) n/A
Spell damage/Healing power: 2050
(Spell)Crit: 25%+
Any other stats which are needed in your class. This is also to test your knowledge about your class so make a good choice. (Posting all stats won’t do the thrick or referring too armory).
I try to not to disregard stamina because a dead healer well, doesn’t heal very good but besides that it’s primarily +heal, intellect, mp5 and spellcrit I try to stack in a balanced way.
In case you check my build, I’m respeccing a few points to get imp concentration aura. The one point in precision was just filling to get kings.
What do you think you can add to Eternals?
I saw Rigsby posting a healadin vacancy yesterday in chat so:
A healer to help in raids, who comes in time with consumables and stuff needed. Although your progress is far beyond mine, I usually read tactics on new bosses on bosskillers in advance if I know where the raid will go. I don’t mind wipes or trying new stuff nor do I mind boosting alts helping out wherever I can. Basically drama-less, I’m too old for that.
What do you think Eternals can do for you?
Enabling me to raid again and to see new content. Of course I’ll make stupid nubbish mistakes now and than (like the first time I saw Akama and talked to him wiping the raid
) but in that case please flame me in the funniest possible way.
