WOTLK APP - Batten paladin tank

Hey guys im really interested in joining for WOTLK and hopefully i can, thanks for taking time to read this app :

General information:

Class: Paladin (tank)
Race: Dwarf
Level at time of application: 70
Played Time on your character: 40days 6 hours
Profesions and level of professions: Herbalism 375 , Alchemy 370
Do you have a stable internet connection (Yes/No and average MS in raids): Very stable, unsure on ms never had to monitor it always had good connection

How soon after release are you aiming to be level 80 and how are you going to achieve this? (I.E. booked a week off work, cleared your evening commitments for 2 weeks, out of work)
I have cleared all commitments for 3 weeks and told m friends no socialising, work is not a problem work form home monitioring screens i go on wow lol dont tell my boss


What other characters will you level to 80?

We currently raid 6 days a week, days and times could possibly change in WotLK, please delete yes or no below depending on whether you would be able to attend or not. (server times)

Saturday is rest day xxxxx i can do fun raids sunday if they happen

Frequency - It hasnt disbanded but all raiders left and the majority joined you and some gone to FTW, because as the summer months came people wasnt raiding regularly and marking they were going to raid but they didnt these points led to a steady breakdown.

What role do you feel you provide in a raid and what areas of strengths do you feel your class and spec has over others?
A very active alert player in raids, my class as a paly tank is incredible for holding aggro on multiple targets and due to the new one with a taunt like effect i am able to stop any foes escaping my aggro.


In WotLK; what changes will you make to your spec and how do you feel the talent changes in WotLK will affect you most?
The new taunt and different talents to reduce damage taken dramaticaly makes up for the difference in our health compared to warrior and druid tanks.

Name 1 thing you feel has been changed negatively regarding your class in the expansion? (if you can't then say why you can't)
Well holy has been nerfed in a way as paladin healers used to be top class raid healers now they are in a way out healed by priests and druids especially priests


What do you think you can add to Eternals?
An extremely active player, with ventrillo so i will talk not just hide away and a positive player if we wipe alot or someones not doing their job correctly i like to correct them and help them if i know their problem


What do you think Eternals can do for you?
Get me back into 25 man raiding, active raiding - i like this 6 days a week raiding thats immense also you will allow me take down new bosses and hopefully become once of/ if not the best alliance guild on the realm

Luke Batten , hence the character name lol , live in leeds UK, really interested in the army and all history lol quite geeky i know but ace And family which will nag me to stop raiding non , well my friend wud but only if he was seriously ill or clinicaly dieing so never lol

Wich new taunt are u talking about?

Also wouldnt u say the 4% loss in stamina is a negative change ?

And finally could you link a talent tree with how you would spec at lvl 80 please

i didnt mean taunt i was meant to say aggro builder lol dunno what i was on about and it was 'Hammer of the Righteous' which is good for holding aggro on multiple targets which us paly tanks do best.

Were you saying the 4% percent loss is negative it brigns with it extra damage reduction capabilites like 'guarded by the light' and other debuffs on the enemy like 'judgements of the just' its the way you look at it negative or positive, each to their own

do you not considder Divine strength to be an important talent to put points in, as a paladins aggro is now more strength based than it is on spell power?

Whats ur reasoning for going for Divine Guardian and Heart of the crusader?

Why no points in imp. judgements and seals of the pure?

to be totaly honest i didnt know paly tanking was more strength now, however i have changed the talent tree sto suit that

and i did choose them to put debuff and critacally increase chance but now ive put them in strength, ty for informing me

I'm sorry we are going to have to decline you. Your app wasn't terrible it's just you seem to have got a bit muddled up on things. I reccomend you level to 80, practise your class with the new changes and reapply then when you will have a much better understanding of the new changes. Good luck.
